User Highlight
This week's user highlight goes to "MARK". The summary of user feedback is as follows:
I am glad that you have software that makes sure that all content is legal . I have not Seen any content that appears underage or illegal . You have weird names for all adult files. The names are long and nonsensical so i do not look at them usually . But yesterday after i looked at the names of the files i downloaded , one of the files had illegal in the middle of the name. It was not at the beginning of the name so i did not notice it at first . I do not know how files are named but was concerned about this . I think you should look into any files with illegal in the name and remove them even if they Are legal . Thanks for keeping all content legal .
Scrolller's Action
MARK Your feedback is well received. We have 88 Million+ pieces of content. As soon as we recieved your feedback we started a sweep across our server. We found that the "illegal" word is reflected in 6273 file names. We thank you for pointing us in the right direction. We are making sure to make necessary corrections to these file names and we will make sure to reflect our legal content policy in the file naming convention moving forward.

New Features Launched
Communication: New Filters
Every week, Scrolller becomes progressively better. Our users find it difficult to keep track of what new features have been added in order to improve their experience. We discovered that the new filter we released was only used by about 2,000 people each day. This indicated that the filter was not visible enough. It also made Scrolller appreciate the value of user communication. Our UI/UX designer was charged with making new features more visible and communicating how to use them to users. They conducted research and developed the most minimalist method of communicating with users. On the sections where we desired users' attention, we put a new dot icon. A dialogue box aided in informing people about the purpose of that particular feature.
We witnessed a 289% increase in the utilization of this new function after we implemented the communication upgrades, with over 8,000 users using it every day. As we add additional filters to improve the user experience, our users will be able to view this communication.
Serving Content from Object Storage
For improved content delivery, the development team has successfully started delivering content from Object Storage. Our host servers' scalability will also benefit. Scrolller currently has four dedicated content storage host servers. Our Pico and Nano servers' content was migrated to a new object storage cluster this week. The object storage cluster now handles all of the traffic that was previously handled by pico and nano.
Upcoming Features
Addition of New Content on Scrolller
Scrolller is in the process of transitioning from file storage to object storage entirely. We will be able to better manage our hosting space as a result of this. The object storage is already operational, and our team is focusing on restarting the scrapper this week. Why isn't it possible to simply turn it on? It's because we'll need to update the code to accommodate object storage.
We will observe a more even distribution of traffic between our storage servers by uploading the data to our object storage system. There will be more redundancy in the content as well. Scrolller will continue to function normally even if one of the servers is down for maintenance or downtime. We'll also have better storage health monitoring, lowering the chances of losing files due to disc failure.
How will we prevent the scrapper from being switched off as we get more data?
Our old method of managing hosted files was manual and time-consuming. By switching to Object storage, we can maintain an automatic balance of consumed space among all storage members. This allows us to simply add hosting space when we run out, and we won't have to worry about files that have already been hosted.

Changes to Our Payment Service Provider
Scrolller is currently updating its payment service provider. We're making this necessary change because we want to enable a variety of payment methods for our users, not only Visa and MasterCard, and we'll be able to connect numerous payment gateways. We understand our users' needs because not everyone has a credit card. As a result of this move, we will be able to offer virtual payment processing, including crypto payments.
This also comes with the revamping of UI for our payment details. Users will now have full control over their payment information. They can also choose to add multiple payment methods to pay their subscriptions.
Scrolller's Security Measures for Premium Subscription Information
Many users have expressed concern about sharing their banking information with a platform. Their fear is valid, and it is Scrolller's responsibility to ensure that users feel safe submitting their information. We've always been extremely transparent about how we store consumers' banking details.
Our payment service provider receives customer information directly. This information isn't saved anywhere on Scrolller's databases or servers. The payment provider that we use is compliant with the highest level of security PCI DSS LEVEL 1.
The Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) defines a “Level 1” merchant as one that processes at least 6 million transactions per year, depending on credit cards the merchant accepts. It is the highest, and most stringent, of the PCI DSS levels
To make sure our users are protected, credentials to view subscription info, manage those subscriptions, etc. are done via our API. This way no one will be able to get unauthorized data directly from our payment provider, like subscriptions or data attached to create a subscription-like First and Last Name.
[Coming Soon] Life Time Subscription for Users
Scrolller is working on introducing a lifetime subscription option on our site, as requested by many of our users. Our users will save a lot of money with this bundle since they will have unlimited access to Scrolller forever. We're also working on adding a non-transferable token (NFT) to the lifetime subscription to increase its worth. More details will be shared in the upcoming newsletter.
Impact of Sanctions on Russia and Belarus
Our Russian users have made a number of inquiries regarding failed payments. We are aware of this issue and we ensure that it is not because of something that Scrolller did. All major credit card networks have announced that they are ceasing services to Russian financial institutions. The credit cards are not getting processed for our users in that region. Unfortunately, there is nothing that we can do at our end to resolve this issue urgently. We are keeping a close eye on this matter and we are making sure to provide a platform free from all political conflicts and hate.
We would love to have your feedback. Your valuable suggestions will help us in improving the website around the globe.

Apologies if it’s been covered before, but I’m curious will there be a function that would facilitate conversation between users directly. ?
